DLT 2/20 Slot recognition problems

We use a DLT 2/20 library in the company but only 19 of the 20 slots are recognised, anybody know the cause of this?

The most likely cause is that you have your library configured with one mailslot.

This library model has 20 physical slots, of which 0,1, or 5 can be configured for use as mailslots. If they're configured as mailslots they will no longer be reported as regular slots to the application.

If you indeed use the mailslot, you just have to realize why there are only 19 usable storage slots. If you don't need the mailslot you can change the configuration on the front panel of the unit.

Thanks for the reply Jan but there are no mailslots configured on the library, I have also reset the drive back to factory settings to try and resolve the problem.
When looking at the control panel slot 20 is shown as the number 1 but in bold.
Any ideas?
