Re: DLT 8000

Fatal error has occured in the drive...

What are the symptoms of the drive? Any LED's on or flashing?

A firmware re-falsh can sometimes resolve some issues...

If firmware update does not resolve problem, then the drive needs to be replaced.

Seeing as it is a DLT 8000 drive, it is problaby out of warranty, but is eligible for the defective exchange program if you are in the USA or Canada. I do not know if this is available in other countries outside North America

Re: DLT 8000

Hi Jaclin,

Thank you for response, the drive is OK, no flashes, firmware reflash did not help, so how to clear it?
