DLT Library Device failure
I have a SureStore DLT Library 7115w that is failing self test. Below are the error codes - any help would be appreciated....
Device failure 3eh
FRU 1 27
FRU 2 40
FRU 3 43
Motion Rezero
Source 0
Destination 1 0
Destination 2 0
odometer 4554
Micromove1 16h
Micromove2 22h
Micromove3 4h
Micromove4 15h
Micromove5 33h
Micromove6 34h
ER 15h
Someone know what all this means???????

Hi Mark,
here some info that should help
3Eh = translate error
ER 15h = translate overforce error
It could be a piece of media in the picker-path or a defect picker or a defect translate encoder
possibly needed part numbers are:
27 = picker assembly = c5150-60x27
40 = translate frame = c1192-60x40
43 = picker horizontal umbilical cable = c1192-60x43
BUT
First pls check if all media is seated correctly in the magazines and that no label is half hanging out of the picker or magazine /drives. Once you've done this pls go to the admin and there to the test menu -> clear soft and hard logs and check the encoder strips and library are ok by running the following tests:
vertical encoder
sensor translate
sensors magazine
find plunge home
find verticalhome
find horizontal home
wellness
if these run fine and any obstruction has been cleared you should not need any of the parts above and if not the error codes given by the tests should explain which part malfunctions
