DLT5060 and hpux with FC link connexion
hello ,
we installed a new DLT labrary " compaq " MLS 5060 " 2 drives " with an RP8400 serveur Hpux 11.11 with FC link and cablling the scsi cables betwen the FC card ,controller card and drives ( see the attached file " cabling ")
we have the status ready from the dlt ,we have configured the fc card to 2 gb like a swith at st to fabric .
but when we run ioscan -fn ,we can't see the two drives we see only the fc card " see the attached file ioscan FC card marked with red color caracter ".
is it hpux drive problem or problem configuration .
there are attached files about fc card configuration and controlleur SCSI configaration .
please help.

I think it's library configuration issue. Please read 'Network Storage Router E1200 Installation Instructions' doc at http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/storageworks/msl5060l1/documentation.html . I remember you have to setup hosts for library access in this router.

all things are ok now.
the problem was in the nsr's configuration ( NSR E1200 )
change as below:
- library's scsi ID to 4 or 5.
- Set the discovery mode to automatic in the nsr's configuration.
- The mapping should be set to auto assigned.
- FCP Response Code to enable
