DLT70e will not eject tape

Hi all,

Having trouble with our DLT70e. What happens is when we press the unload button, the tape spins for a coupleof seconds and then all lights on the right hand side start flashing and the door is not openable.

Any ideas what i can do to free the tape.

Mark,
replace the drive. Do you check tapes (actually opening their doors and looking to the buckling ring if it's not damaged and properly aligned)?
I guess your drive has leader dropped.
