DP6.0
I currently have a DL380 as my appliance server which is directly via fiber attached to a EVA4100 SAN. I have had this up and running for a few months now and have tested the backups without too many issues. I am all of a sudden getting this error within DP when I try and schedule a backup job to the data on the SAN.
"While loading the current selected backup specification, Data Protector found a backup object belonging to a client system that is no longer imported in cell
2ux80203he
Do you want to leave the orphan object in the backup specification?
The thing that is confusing is that I have selected the data on the SAN which I have backed up before without any issues.
This system is going into production mode very soon so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Re: DP6.0
Hi,
Add the IP of the DP GUI host in the cellmanager Host file.
make sure the names resolution work from cellmanager to client, vice versa.
Regards,
Shriprasad
