DS2300 and Adaptec controller cards
I have a DS2300 and I want to connect it to an adaptec 29160 or a 2940U2W. When I attach it the fault light comes on and the controller will not detect hard disks with either controller. When I attach the 2300 to an embedded controller such as the Symbios 53C1010 in an LP2000 the fault light goes off and detects the hard disks properly. Does anyone know why this is happening? Any suggestions?
