Data Compression
I'm not able to operate the tape drive in such a manner that data will be compressed. The jumper 7-8 of the drive is removed. I use 120 m DDS tapes, so with compression 8 GB must be possible. But I only can put 3,8 GB on tape.
I have tried it with the standard backup software of MS and also with Arcserve. In both cases I have selected for data compression.
What am I doing wrong?
