Data Protector Express 3.1 sp4 problem

Hi there,

I have an error that occurs everytime i do a backup. Under the Recent Logs it says under Warnings & Errors, Error 1004: Invalid Object ID.

The backup fails to back anything up.

I have tried to repair the catalog by stopping the DPE service and inserting the repair code into the dpconfig.ini file but this does not fix the problem.

Any other suggestions would be great!

I run a full backup everyday (Mon-Fri) on tapes labelled Mon-Fri.

Hi again,

I think i've resolved this problem. There was a folder that i was backing up which used to exist but no longer exists which was selected. I unticked it the the backup runs with no problems

Anyone know how i can remove that folder? The folder doesn't actually exist, only with Data Protector for some reason. It was an old Home folder for someones my documents but i relocated it to another folder so dont need it anymore. I had removed it from explorer but its still picking it up in DPE.
