Data Protector Express Single Server Edition on Windows Server 2012

Data Protector Express Single Server Edition on Windows Server 2012

 

Previously we had a tape drive HP StorageWorks Ultrium 1760 SAS
and we performed backups with Data Protector Express Single Server Edition for Windows Server 2008

We have now purchased an HP ProLiant server DL380p G8 Windows Server 2012 and want to connect the tape drive to the server.

Is there any new version of software for backup or need to buy some other product?

Unfortunately, this forum is for the Full version of Data Protector, and we don't deal much with Data Protector Express, which is a totally different product

 

I did look for a support matrix for Data Protector Express, and found none, so I am not able to tell you if this is a supported device
