Data Protector Express media server on Windows XP

It's possible to install Data Protector Express on a Windows XP as a media server (where resides the tape device) and backup only a remote Windows Server 2008?

How many licenses are needed?

Yeah it is posible on both 4.0 and 5.0 you can go to www.hp.com/go/dataprotectorexpress for more info.
