Data Protector Installation

Hi, got some problem installing Data Protector Express so I tried the CUI way which allowed me to get further ahead to the message of could not create basic services and could not create desktop icons. I´m running the setup as an administrator. Preciate any help !! Thanks

Would u mind to provide as more details info such snapshot of error(s), etc.
What version u are tried installed with? How bout ur OS?

The OS is Windows 2000 server sp4 on an IBM xSeries 86711AX. I tried with the DPE SP2 but it tells me that is the wrong OS. When it finally seems installed i run the application and all the icons are blank and do nothing on click. thanks for any help, see if i can get same snapshots !!
