Re: Data Protector express 1401 error
Hi,
I've got the same error on my LTO-3 tapes.
This error is raised in the middle of backup.
HP DPX 4 sp1, Win2003, LTO-3 SAS.
On different tapes the error was appeared in different places of backup process.
On some tapes I've got accordingly errors: 4074, 4075,4077.
I've try to use brand new tape - same result (error 1401).
I've made 3 cycle of cleaning tape drive - same result.
Nevertheless DPX Test Drive job with the same tapes completed successfully without errors.
What can I overcome this error?

Re: Data Protector express 1401 error
For StelmD this error that start with 4XXX are hardware errors so you will need to test your tape drive and tapes with LTT make sure drive passes Assesment test then teest your medias.
For firstkmh that was the reason I ask you if you get this error right away o later on the backup you can check for the whole list of errors on the Server aplcation log.
