Data migration from DDS tapes to Ultrium tapes
Please what are the steps/requirement in migrating data from dds tapes to ultrium tape drives? How can this be achieved?
Please solution needed as soon as possible.

what format is the data on the DDS tapes? Fbackup, tar, cpio, omniback? That will help...

The backup is done using sam. To my knowledge, sam uses fbackup & frecover format.
But you can also educate me on the cpio,tar,omniback11
