Desaster with Windows 2003 and C5713 autoloader

We got a big problem since we replaced our DDS-3 autoloader with a DDS-4 autoloader C5713. This special autoloader has been working fine in another server since a year (Backup Exec 9 with nearly all patches, W2K server and symbios logic controller, about 100MB/min throughput).
In the new server (Windows 2003 server, Proliant ML 530 G2 with HP (Adaptec)Ultra 3 controller) we can backup, but with a throughput between 15 and 20 MB/min. I scanned the whole thing with nearly any diagnostic tool from HP (LTT and windows diagnostic). The only information: everything is allright, but slow.
The only thing I noticed that the controller (while booting) says the two SCSI devices (robotic and drive) are connected by 8 bit and ASYNC. I don├В┬┤t thnik that is allright. I have allready been changing the SCSI cable, no difference.

Can anyone tell me how to verify this matter about the controller and the streamer
I don├В┬┤t know anything, but that i know

Re: Desaster with Windows 2003 and C5713 autoloader

I think that solved my problem, too.
Using the mentionned driver I got throughputs up to 250MB/min.
But i really want to know what the "8bit" and the "ASYNC" at startup is all about.

For what I know, it always appear like that at boot time, it is not the speed at what it negotiate with the target.
The real speed and data whidth is fixed later and is not displaid at boot time.
So do not care about that.
