Device off-line
I don't know what I did but the Compaq DLT 4000 tape on my server is apparently off-line (that's what it says in the ArcserveIT device list) it is recognised but strangely it does not have a device driver, is that what is causing this? where do I find those drivers on the compaq CD's, I've had no luck downloading the drivers (possibly our firewall blocks it)
Thanks for any help,
Hugo

Re: Device off-line
We had this problem on a DLT 4000, running Veritas Backup Exec. We had to re-load Backup exec and that cleared it up.

Re: Device off-line
thanks, but it was more obvious than that. The cable was broken.
