Digital TZ88 Tape Drive
I have a digital TZ88 Tape Drive and the top three led's (Write Protected, Tape in Use and Use Cleaning Tape) are flashing in unison. The Operate Handle LED is solid green. I can not seem to find any manuals for this unit on the web. What is this indicating?

Re: Digital TZ88 Tape Drive
This means that the drive is in an abnormal condition.
You surely have tried several times to power cycle your drive. If this doesn't solve your problem, check if the tape drive leader is dropped. Just look into the the empty drive thru the hole where you normally put the cartridge and see if the black piece of dummy tape ended with a sort of arrow is visible. If no, you have a couple of choices:
-open the drive and try to put back in place your leader, assuming is not broken (not recommended)
-call your assistance.
If the leader is correctly placed, your drive has a problem with electronics. Again, call your support.
