Dlt 1 80go (C7484A)

I recently on Warranty change my defective DLT tape drive and I'm unable to restore archive media with the new one ? I'm able to restore backup taken with the new unit !

Somebody have an idea ?

Re: Dlt 1 80go (C7484A)

What kind of DLT was the defective drive.
What was happening with the defective drive? Depending on the issue it answer could be that the reason the replacement will not read the tapes written in the defective drive could be because the defective was defective because of the read/write heads.
