EML 103E Library - Unable to upgrade Libray Firmware - Fails

Hi,

We are trying to upgrade EML 103e Library Fimware. We tried using CVTL 2.2.00, But the application hangs while doing this. So, we downloaded the firmware's which can be upgraded using LTT. Unfortunately, upgrade of Library fails with Partitioning Error. But we do not have any partition on the Library. We have 4 numbers of LTO-3 drives all with L58S Firmware. The current library firmware version is 1068. we are getting partition error when we tried to upgrade from 1068 to firmware 1200.

Hi,

I have seen similar problems on an ESLe library if the number of drives set from the OCP doesn't match the actual number of drives in the library - if this is the case with your EML it may be the cause of the problem - the non-existant drives will be shown in an unknown state and cause problems with partitioning.

Hi,

Once again I have tried upgrading the firmware from CVTL it succeded. I have upgraded all the firmware, now for the interface manager it shows operational instead of Ready status. Please help
