Re: EML E-Series
hi
thanks for your replays
my question is is there any other way to reset the interface to its default setting beside inserting a pin into reset hole on the interface ?
as far as i know the interface have an software issue rather than hardware issue

Re: EML E-Series
hello again
after connecting by SERIAL cable i tried to reset {cold and worm} but in both ways shows this
Rebooting...
BIOS 20.08.00.00
Platform Rev is 0x0
CPU PLD Rev is 0xF
MCU Rev is 0xA ...
firmwareCopy 5.9.63
CPU Program RAM : 10000000
PCI Protocol RAM : 04000000
Compare Error
PCI RAM failed at 0x40000000
Actual Value : 0xFE0000FE
Expected Value : 0xFFFFFFFE
Start Address was : 0x40000000
based on my experiance this is a hardware address for the ram

Re: EML E-Series
hello Torsten
i tried to contact the HP support
but since my location is at IRAQ and iraq is not listed at HP support number's list
one more thing i would like to ask ,my tape library support has been expired so, do you think hp support will help me while i have an expired licence or do i have to renew the support for that ?
also i would be happy to provide me an HP global support number if they have or even an email address
thanks for your help
