EML103e Tape Library heads go offline
We have a HP EML103e tape library with 4 LTO3 heads and the latest firmware. We use Veritas NetBackup V6.0MP3 as backup software. We have 1 Master server and 3 Media servers. 1 LTO3 head assigned to each server. The servers use Emulex LP1050 HBA's with driver 5-5.20a10.
The problem that we have is that at random, some, not all, of the heads will go offline. You then have to use NetBackup to put the heads back online again. Has anybody else experienced this problem and found a solution?

Re: EML103e Tape Library heads go offline
You indicate that you use NetBackup to put the heads back online which sounds like it is NetBackup taking them offline.
Is there any information in NetBackup to say why it took them offline?
