ESL 712e fabric zoning

All,

I cannot find docments outlining best practices for zoning of the ESL.  In the past all devices needed to be all on one fabric.  Is this still true?

Also, single initiator/single target I bet still applies or can the robotics & tape drives (lto5's) be in one zone together with the hosts that I need them to see?

Hi Suzanne,

the best document to refer when it comes to HP tape library configuration is the EBS Design guide which will be updated with the HP's tested configuration available at Enterprise Backup Solution Design guide

the Page 104 of the document gives the recommanded Zoning for the tape libraries
