ESL Tape Library and LTO5 drives
I have just installed 4 LTO5 tape drives into my esl library. Command view see's them fine, they are seen and zoned onto the fabric, but I cannot get my windows servers to see them .. including the cell manager. Partitions were able to successfull extend to add.
Has anyone seen this before?
thanks,
Suzanne

Re: ESL Tape Library and LTO5 drives
Wild guess, but have you used Command View to ensure that the firmware of the library/robot/controller matches the firmware of the drives?
Have you gone into Windows Device Mangler and rediscovered HW to force Windows to look for the new drives?
