Error 1401: Alert - Please insert compatible media

Hello,
We are using Data protector Express with a DAT72 (HPC7438A) for many months. Since 2 week, we are not able to backup due to the following message: Error 1401: Alert insert compatible media.
We don't change anything, this the same job, same tape...
What can we do ?

Have you got test with an other new tape ?
Mybe it's an electronics problem on drive.

I am also having this same issue. It just started out of no where about a month ago please help...

I am also experiencing this problem. Any tape I put in (that I have been using for a long time) is getting this error. Also, I can't erase or format the tapes. They either get this error or 1400.
