Error 1401: Alert-Please insert compatible media

I have a HP StorageWorks Ultrium 1760 LTO4 connected to DL380 G6 server. Moreover I have data cartridge Ultrium LTO4 C7974A. This is compatible to each other. Still then it gives an error "Error 1401: Alert-Please insert compatible media". Please help me to resolve this issue.

Maybe a cleaning tape will help.

load the tape in the drive, and then collect a support ticket and attach it here, we will probalby be able to see what is going on
