Error 3024: User lacks the required
hi,
Need some help in diagnosing the root cause of errors in Data Protector Express 4.0 sp1. the problem was i have always received this error in my backup " Error 3024: User lacks the required Bkp: R: rights to access this object "

Does the user account used for the software have the correct rights over the data?
Usually an account would be granted backup admin rights at time of installation.
Are you logging in with the right account? Are there additional credentials you may need for data stored outside the AD?
