Error Msg: Shuttle EPAT

I have reinstalled my Hp 5gb under Win98SE; this is an internal drive. I am getting, under device manager, a message that the "Shuttle EPAT External ATAPI Adapter for Win9x." is missing drivers or not setup. Since I am using an internal drive, is this neccesary, and if so what is the fix?

Here's a guess.

You installed colorado backup that has the driver installation package included.
You installed the driver package, which is for the external drives, and that is causing the problem.

You should just be able to click on the 'device' in the device manager and then select 'remove'.

You are quite right, an internal device doesn't require it.
