Errore 1040 periferica non in linea

Chiediamo chiarimenti riguardo al tipo di errore che comapare nel momento nel lancio del back up giornaliero su nastro.La periferica utilizzata ??:
- Dat cod.DW022A
- Serial no: HU10817LRS
Il prodotto ?? stato acquistato a inizio settembre.
Per procedere col back up si ?? costretti a riavviare la macchina:Hp proliant ML110 G5.
Grazie per la disponibilit??.

Hi,

The easiest way to confirm that it is not being caused by job settings is to specify the device being used in the properties of the backup job, following the instructions mentioned below

1. Open Data Protector Express.
2. Select the Jobs and Media item in the Favorites deskbar.
3. Expand the Admin folder.
4. Right click your job and select properties.
5. In the properties window of the job, select Devices and Media in the Left Column.
6. On the Devices and Media page, highlight the item listed in the "Devices" box, and select the Delete button at the bottom of this window.
7. Select the Add button at the bottom of this box.
8. Expand the Network item (click the "+" to the left of it).
9. Expand the name of the computer with the device you want to use attached to it (click the "+" to the left of it).
10. Select the actual device (highlight it by clicking on it once).
11. Select OK in this window.
12. Select OK in the backup job Properties window.


2. If this is being caused by a tape device being attached to a RAID controller, Connecting tape devices to RAID controllers is not recommended by HP

3. This can also be caused by selecting a target device that is not enabled in Data Protector Express (device types must be enabled in each backup job).
