I have an MSL 6060 with 2 Ultrium2 drives connected trough NSR E1200.
I've got this error message:
"Fault code 8003"
Has anybody a fault code description, or any experience with this error message?
Thanks in advance.
Levente

Re: Fault code 8003
recommanded action are:
- Cycle power to the library using the Power option on the GUI touch screen. Wait 30 seconds to power up again.
- Turn off power to the library and inspect connectors and cables.
-call technical support

SolutionIt may be also that the problem is caused by cabling error, analysing the NSR traces and logs may give you some indication of scsi hardware error during communication.
Be also sure that you do not have reservation conflicts comming from the san; as usual RSM, and Insight agents (windows environment) and OV-SAM on HPUX should be stopped

Re: Fault code 8003
There is a separate zone for the host and the NSR, no error logs in NSR, and the error appears - sometimes, not allways - from a Novell Netware 6.5 during full backup (DP 5.1)
