Fiber tape drive direct attach

Does anyone know of any issues regarding connecting a fiber tape drive to T600 using A3636A tachyon card.( No Fabric here )
Tape drive 9840FC

I know that Omniback has some firmware requirements for the 9840FC to overcome some issues. You may wish you post another message in the Openview forum.
