Firmware Installed By LTT

Is the firmware that the HP Library and Tape Tools application installs to the 10/180 and 20/700 libraries the standard StorageTek firmware, or is it modified specifically for those target libraries?

Hi ya W,

I am 97.5% sure that the firmware is not specifically designed for the drive. Just an updated version of the original firmware.

That firmware is a customer build to HP's specifications and qualified by HP on HP servers.
