Firmware update tape library

hello all,

one of our HP ESL 712e tape library robotics needs to be updated with a newer firmware version (from 5.10.15 to 6.20). After this upgrade, do i need to do something in Data Protector (5.5)?

Usualy the FW upgrade of the ESLe Library is part of a bigger process, you need to upgrade all the components from CVTL to the IM and IC plus all the drives, not only the library.
This process, depending from which bundle to which bundle you are going may be long, but usualy all the drives are presented again to the hosts as in the past, and the Backup Application should not need any tuning.
