HELP!!!How Setup 1/8 VS80 With ARCServe 2000 AE?

I have installed ARCServe 2000 on my WIN2K workstation. The software recognizes the autoloader. I just cannot figure it out how to go about setting up a 5 day differential, friday full, and monthly full with GFS enable. I guess my question is how does Arserve 2000 know which tape to pull for differential, weekly full, and monthly full?

Please help. I have been fighting with it for 2 weeks already. I called HP and CA support, but they could not give me a clear and solid answer.
