Hi i bought this streamer (which is used) today. Is there anyone who is able to tell me how is the way to handle the termination procedure of this streamer(SCSI)).
Or better, is there anyone to show me a link where i can find an installation guide and firmware and so on.
Many thanks for help

Re: HP 1537A Streamer
You can find manuals under support for the 'storageworks dat24' product.
Here's a link:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&locale=en_US&docIndexId=179911&taskId=101&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=42846
I assume you have an external drive. All you need is an LD50 SE terminator on second connector.

The internal drive has only one connector. You will need to have a terminator at the end of the cable, or obtain a pass-through terminator. It should be covered in the manual.
