HP 448 External Tape Drive Errors

Hi,

We have just received our third tape unit and each one fails within a couple of days. It will not accept any tapes (just ejects) and the drive light flashes orange and we cannot do anything with it (cannot reset). Does anyone know what is going on?

I have attached the L&TT support ticket.

If you need anymore details just let me know.

Have you tried some new tapes? What type of tapes are you attempting to use?
