HP AutoLoader 1/8 Tape Stuck

I have a tape stuck in the AutoLoader's drive. After a powercycle, the device no longer recognizes a tape is in the drive and will not let me unload it, nor will it eject after waiting the suggested ten minutes. Is there a way to manually eject the tape from the drive?

There is no way to manually remove the tape and error code BD ususally means the unit has failed. If you are still in warranty contact HP support.
