Is it normal that a exclamation mark appear on one of the tape backup SCSI ID??

And in second time, when i want to start an automate backup, with more than 40GB to backup, when the second tape is load, a message appear and ask to me if i want to erase all data on the tape...??? This message appear even if i select Overwrite all data???

Hi Charles,

No it is not normal for the exclaimation mark to appear - -same principal here as device manager, it is a sign that something is wrong. What I would suggest would be to uninstall and re-install tapeware. Check SCSI settings and ensure LUN support is enabled. After you have re-installed try a backup again and see if you get the same msg. There may be some settings that can be adjusted to stop this but you would need to make sure the device is seen ok without the exclaimation mark.
