HP COLORADO 20GB: Reading Backups, written in W98

I bougth a new PC with W2000 OS.
My Problem:
Formerly, I have used Windows 98 and HP Colorado Backup II. I have to read these tapes, but W2000 doesn't accept the format of the backup set. Furtheron I can't install the original veriosn of HP colorado backup Software ( designed for W98). Is there any chance to read the backups ?

I will be very happe for your soon answers.

Steffen:

Can you bring the WIN98 system back up and network it with the WIN2K machine and restore your data across the wire?

Once you've restored your data consider upgrading your software via the instructions on the following link:

P.S.:

You may want to contact Veritas and ask them if you'll be able to read your WIN98 tapes after you upgrade your software from your WIN2K system.
