HP COLORADO 5GB C4361-57000
I know that the HP Colorado 5GB C4361-5700 is a parallel port Travan TR4 tape drive. My question is could you connect it to a Parallel to USB2 Adapter and it still work?

Re: HP COLORADO 5GB C4361-57000
This particular model came with IDE interface. If you have the right converter cable. Then it should work. There might not be any improvement in the speed as they lowest in the chain will bring down the controllers capability (USB).
Please let us know once you have set it up and its ran some jobs on it.
Thanks

Re: HP COLORADO 5GB C4361-57000
We cannot gurantee the functionality (Recognision and Communication) as the converters are not tested by us.
Do test them at the sellers location or ensure that you have a return option if it fails to work.
