HP Colorado 5gb Internal Tape Drive - Windows XP support

I'm having trouble getting my HP Colorado Tape drive to work using Windows/XP using HP backup II v9.1 software. In looking for a updated driver to try, the HP website doesn't list anything for XP, only win/98, me, 2000, etc???. My drive just hangs and I have to do a hard shutdown to get my system back.

Any ideas on drivers, etc??

Hi Mike,

there are a lot of questions in this forum dealing with the same problem. The answer is allways the same: HP colorado backup does not work with Windows XP! You have to buy another software, for example Veritas BackupMyPC.
