HP DAT 40 U320 SCSI GHOST error
Hi All
I have a DL360 with a dual channel U320 SCSI and an external HP DAT 40 (HP C5683A)
I have created a GHOST DOS boot disk and am using the LSI ASPI driver for the U320 SCSI, all works fine until the disk image reaches 99% then GHOST v8.0 reports an error “Error Number: (39000)Message: Tape IO timeout” I get an option to wait, fail or abort. Fail or abort (obvious) wait just returns back to the error.
I have been searching the WEB for a bout a week and been in touch with Symantec about this, they say its something to do with the ASPI driver or the tape unit; I have had the tape unit replaced from the supplier, same results!
Any Ideas T

Re: HP DAT 40 U320 SCSI GHOST error
I am also encountering the same problem. Have you solved the problem ?
