HP-PB card
HI, does anyone know if the HP-PB Single-ended SCSI-2 interface card Product # 28655A is a Narrow single-ended SCSI, if not what type of connector is it? Any known problems with this card and the 9000 K360 or DDS-3 autoloader C6366A? Thanks in advance.
P.S. This thread has been moevd from General to Tape Libraries and Drives. - Hp Forum Moderator

Re: HP-PB card
28655A is a normal single ended SCSI (8 bits plus 1 bit parity) for up to seven devices and a cable length of max. 6 m (in- and extern together).
The C6366A is also a 8 bit single ended scsi device and should work with the card.
And the K360 owns HP-PB slots so that this combination principally should work.
Any detailled error messages?
regards
Dirk

Re: HP-PB card
(moderator) Here it is:
Thanks for the info. no error messages, these components are not installed on the system as yet. just verifying compatablility before installation. I knew that the DDS-3 is NSE but I was not sure about the HP-PB card so I needed to know before I order the wrong card and cable.
