HP SureStore 6000e DDS-2 drive - need fuse info

I bought a used SureStore 6000 tape drive, which won't turn on. I popped it open to take a look and I noticed that there's a fuse holder inside the case, but no fuse is installed. While I'm just guessing that this is the cause of the lack of power, I am wondering if anyone knows if it's necessary to have a fuse installed and if so, what size (watts, amps) fuse would need to go in there.
