HP SureStore DAT24i problem when update new firmware

Hello, please help me.

I have internal SureStore DAT24 (Part No: C1555 - HP Library & Tape Tools recognize like a C1537A). Thise drive work fine until i deside update with new firmware (LTT_C1537A_L111.frm). After updating i have problem with write data on DDS3 media (TDK/Maxell/Sony/HP-new or old). Write 100-120 MB data is to long (cca. 20 min.). Write/read data on DDS2 media is no problem. Is no problem to read DDS3 media (DDS3 media recordet before updating). May be i resolve problem with downgrade firmware on older version (i recive from web-troubleshooting password 2 times but is not working-message=password is not "validate")? Please help me someone.

Xeon

P.S. My configuration: OS Win2000 PRO/SCSI card NCR810/CPU AMD XP 1.7+/384 MB SDRAM/MBO MSI K7T/HDD Maxtor 60GB-5200 rpm/VGA MSI GeForce2 MX-400-64 MB/no other SCSI device...

Make sure your system time is set correctly. The passwords are time sensitive and have the time encoded in them. If your system time isn't set correctly, HP L&TT will not validate the password.

Re: HP SureStore DAT24i problem when update new firmware

Thank You for sending me correct password. I downgrade firmware on version LTT_C1537A_L907.frm and work (i think) fine. One more question. Time for backup 600 MB is 19-20 min. long. Thiese time is O.K. or is may be little to long?
