HP Surestore 6000e tape capacity
Am using DDS2 4/8gb tapes now. Would like to know if I can use DDS3 or DDS4 tapes with larger capacity? If so, what is recommended ?

Re: HP Surestore 6000e tape capacity
Any tape that can't be used will be automatically ejected. DDS III & IV tapes should be fine in a modern DDS II drive. YMMV.

Re: HP Surestore 6000e tape capacity
Actually,
Only DDS-2 and DDS-1 style tapes will be compatiable with the 6000. Basically the DAT 6000 is a DDS-2 style drive.
Cheers,
Shawn Lucas
