HP Surestore Tape 2000 DDS
Morning
The above tape is connected to Novell 3.12 server running Arcserve 6.
I'm getting following errors. Where, can I get replacement or which is the best tape drive to use on Novell 3.12, running Arcserve V6

Re: HP Surestore Tape 2000 DDS
These are really old drives... I believe they were manufactured before 1999.
They are EOL, not in support and not being manufactured.
For a hardware error like this, try flashing the firmware with HP Storagewroks Library & Tape tools (LTT).
But when these types of drives fail with a hardware error it usually means they need to be replaced.
Best bet is to try e-bay for refurbished products. They will not be under support by HP and are not eligible for warranty.
