Hi,
I have HP MSL6030 and HP Ultrium 2-SCSI Driver. (Connected via adpu320 SCSI Adapter to HP Proliant DL380 (WinServer 2003SP1 – Arcserve 11.5SP3). In last time start to come in ARCserve error as: E6300, E3719, E3712 and Backups are “failed”… When I try to restore (merge) comes errors: E3510, E37134, E4110, E3502, E5110 for merge and AE0040, E6300, E3712 for restore. Is starting whit the problem for formatting the second tape from group in library, after this was all time worst and worst. Now all jobs are “Crashed”, “Restore” same….Can someone help whit same idea,
Thanks, Pavel

Solution
It can be related to medium error, have you tried different media? Will it give you the same error.
Try this document in CA
http://supportconnect.ca.com/sc/kb/techdetail.jsp?searchID=TEC342813&docid=342813&bypass=yes&fromscreen=kbresults
Also you can run Library and Tape Tools, there is a Media Analysis test, and also a R/W test to see if it's whether media or the drive.

Yes, I tried many other tapes, and all are ended with same errors. Job ends with E6300 (2 times) and one E3712.
