HP Ultrium 215e drive struck up while taking backup from SQL and Sap database

we had installed Hp ultrium 215e drive on ultra 160 LVD SCSI interface(HP
ultra 160 SCSI host bus adapter kit: C7474-60001). While taking the
Transaction Log Backup (SQL) the following message has come and strucked "
REQUEST FOR DEVICE R3DUMP0 TIMEOUT. BACKUP OR RESTORE OPERATION TERMINATING
ABNORMALLY."While taking Database backup,(SAP) after one hour processing, it is
getting strucked and giving the error message(sap error message- no windows message) . (Please see the attached
file). After applying all requirements, we could not be able to get backup.
Please guide us, what is the main problem. as we want to have the solution
on urgent basis.
