HP external tape drive -DAT8e Vs DAT24e

Hi, all

We are currently using HP SureStore DAT8e connected to Dell PowerEdge Server for backup purpose. However, the tape devices is going to EOL.

We are considering DAT24e for subsitution, and have the following questions:

1. Does the DAT24e supports IBM OS/2 server (Web Server for E-Business)?

2. Deos it compatible with Dell server (ie. PE2400, PE2500, PE2600...etc)?

3. If the above are negative, do we have any other choices?
