HP storageworks dat 72 connectivity

Hi,

my DAT 72 SCSI is out of order, i bought a new one but with a USB and not SCSI connectivy.

Someone told me that if i install a DAT 72 USB instead of a DAT 72 SCSI it will break my Data Protector Express License.

 

Is it right ?
